Meet Kerry Hyndes
Kerry Hyndes is a bodywork therapist with over 25 years of experience in massage, yoga, and holistic wellbeing. She offers a truly integrative approach, tailoring each session to the unique needs of her clients, with a deep understanding of how the body, breath, and mind are intimately connected.
Drawing from a rich toolkit—including remedial massage, soft tissue therapy, Zenthai Shiatsu, and Transformational Bodywork—Kerry supports her clients to release tension, restore balance, and connect more deeply to themselves.
At the heart of Kerry’s work is a focus on emotional release and resolution. She creates a safe, nurturing space where clients feel seen, heard, and held without judgment—an environment that allows for true healing and personal growth. Her sessions gently move energy (chi) and help the body let go of emotional holdings, guiding each person back to a sense of clarity, ease, and connection.
Kerry began her career in 1998 after completing advanced training at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney, where she earned diplomas in Remedial Massage, Sports Injuries, and Aromatherapy. In 2003–2004, she undertook Transformational Bodywork training at the Centre for Human Transformation in Victoria, which became a cornerstone of her practice.
A dedicated yoga student for over 30 years, Kerry became a certified teacher in 2015 and added further training in yin and restorative yoga in 2018. In 2024, she completed her Zenthai Shiatsu therapist training—a comprehensive and transformative modality grounded in traditional Chinese medicine, yoga, and osteopathy. This practice has brought a new depth to Kerry’s work, weaving together much of her previous training into a form that is both deeply nurturing and powerfully therapeutic. Zenthai Shiatsu connects her practice to the rich and ancient lineage of manual therapy, offering highly effective tools for supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and find balance.
Kerry is passionate about guiding others on their soul’s healing journey. She believes that in today’s world, we all need space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—to be lovingly supported as we awaken to our higher purpose and fullest potential.
